ALL PURPOSE GREEK SEASONING

I can't find Greek Seasoning locally, so found this recipe instead!

All Purpose Greek Seasoning image

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients together. Store in glass jar in cool, dark place.

1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried majoram
1/2 tsp dried minced onion
1/4 tsp dried minced garlic

ALL PURPOSE GREEK SEASONING

I love this seasoning for skewered meat whether its lamb, chicken, or beef. Its also delicious on air popped pop corn and mixed with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to make a fantastic salad dressing. Cook time is the time to put the spice mix in the jar.

  • Mix everything together and store in an air tight spice jar.

3 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried mint
2 teaspoons dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried onion (minced)
2 teaspoons dried garlic (minced)

  • Mix salt, garlic powder, basil, oregano, cinnamon, black pepper, parsley, rosemary, dill, marjoram, cornstarch, thyme, and nutmeg in a bowl. Store in an airtight container. Alternately, blend spices in a spice grinder for a finer texture.
