- Cook macaroni according to package directions., Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Using a slotted spoon, remove to paper towels; drain, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings. Saute jalapeno in reserved drippings. Add milk and cheeses to pan; cook and stir until blended. Stir in the onion powder, chili powder, salt, pepper and pepper sauce. , Drain macaroni; add to pan with the onions and cooked bacon. Mix well. , Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 10-15 minutes longer or until heated through.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Brown bacon in nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Drain crisp bacon bits on paper towels.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon, Swiss and scallions with cooked bacon. Transfer to a shallow small casserole or baking dish and bake until golden and bubbly at edges, 15 to 18 minutes. Top with chopped smoked almonds. Place dip on a platter and surround warm casserole with breads and carrots for dipping.

- 1. In a large pot boil salted water and cook pasta for 8 minutes then drain and set aside.
- 2. In a bowl mix the milk, broth and flour and whisk until flour is dissolved. Then pour the milk mixture, garlic powder, basil, thyme, and a pinch of salt and pepper into a sauce pan sprayed with cooking spray and cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes or until milk begins to thicken. Then add the swiss cheese, and parmesan cheese and continue to stir until cheese is melted (around 3 minutes).
- 3. In a small pan sprayed with cooking spray cook the bacon pieces over medium heat for 3-4 minutes or until crispy. Then set bacon aside on a plate lined with a paper towel.
- 4. Combine the pasta and cheese sauce and toss well. Then top with bacon pieces and serve.

A wonderful teacher friend of mine gave me this recipe for Swiss cheese and bacon dip. She is often asked to bring it to teacher functions. It is easy and delicious! Serve with additional Ritz® crackers, melba toasts, or assorted dipping vegetables.

- Set aside 1/2 of the crushed crackers, 1/4 of the bacon bits, and 1/2 of the green onions for topping.
- Combine Swiss cheese, cream cheese, and Miracle Whip® in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 2 minutes.
- Add remaining crushed crackers, remaining bacon bits, and remaining green onions to the cheese mixture. Mix well and microwave for 2 more minutes.

- Preheat oven to 325°F
- Lightly grease a 12 × 8-inch baking pan; set aside.
- Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt.
- Drain in colander; set aside.
- Meanwhile, lightly saute the shallots until softened in just enough butter to keep them from sticking to the pan, set aside.
- Whisk together milk, flour, mustard, salt and pepper in large skillet. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Remove skillet from heat; add shallots, Swiss cheese and whisk until smooth.
