BLACKBERRY DAIQUIRI SHERBET
The summer I decided to try making sherbet, which is one of my favorites, blackberries were in season in my mom's garden. I love the flavor of daiquiris, and the two blend together beautifully! -Shelly L. Bevington, Hermiston, Oregon

STRAWBERRY-BANANA SHERBET
Sherbet is lighter than ice cream and richer than sorbet. It's made from a frozen mix of sweetened fruit juice and water that's often fortified with milk, cream, egg whites, syrup, or gelatin to impart a smooth, soft consistency.

BANANA SMOOTHIE
This banana smoothie has to be one of my favorite recipes because it can be made in a flash, yet it's full of flavor. I think the honey adds just the right amount of sweetness. Everyone will love it...not just banana lovers! -Ro Ann Cox, Lenoir, North Carolina

BANANA ORANGE FROZEN SORBET
Except for the small amount of fat in the bananas, there is hardly any fat in this recipe, and it's very very refreshing! If you don't have an ice cream maker you can spread the mixture into a shallow pan and freeze, just give it a stir with a fork every 45 minutes, once it gets fairly firm, briefly toss it in a blender to break up the ice crystals and then refreeze.
