ORANGE CASHEW BARS

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugars until smooth. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour., Press dough onto bottom and 1/4 in. up sides of a 13x9-in. baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake 15-20 minutes or until edges are light brown. Cool 10 minutes on a wire rack., For filling, in a large bowl, beat brown sugar, egg whites, egg, flour, extracts and salt until smooth. Stir in cashews. Pour into crust. Bake 15-20 minutes longer or until set., Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. In a small bowl, mix icing ingredients; drizzle over top. Cut into bars.

- Place the nuts on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes until they are warmed through. Meanwhile, combine the rosemary, pepper, sugar, salt and butter in a large bowl. Toss the warm nuts with the rosemary mixture until the nuts are completely coated. Serve warm.

- Preheat oven to 375°. In a bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients; add alternately with sour cream to creamed mixture. Stir in chopped cashews. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake until lightly browned, 8-10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. For frosting, lightly brown butter in a small saucepan. Remove from the heat and cool slightly. Add cream and vanilla. Beat in confectioners' sugar until smooth and thick. Frost cookies; top each with a cashew half.

- Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9-inch pan. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; mix well.
- Melt 1/2 cup butter in large saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat. Add flour mixture, brown sugar, cashews, 1 teaspoon vanilla and eggs; mix well. Spread batter in greased pan.
- Bake at 350°F. for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and bars begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool 30 minutes or until completely cooled.

- Heat oven to 350°F Grease bottom and sides of jelly roll pan, 15 1/2x10 1/2x1 inch, with shortening, or line with aluminum foil. In large bowl, mix 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2/3 cup butter, 1/2 cup corn syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla and the egg with spoon. Stir in flour and salt. Spread in pan. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown.

- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a 10-by-15-inch (25-by-38-cm) or sorta similar size pan with a large sheet of aluminum foil, leaving a few inches of foil hanging over the longer sides of the pan.

- Remove the pan from the heat and slowly, slowly whisk in the condensed milk until blended. Pour the mixture over the crackers, being sure to completely cover the crackers.
