BROWNIE COOKIE BARS
This brownie cookie bar recipe kind of combines brownies and cookies, except that the brownies are square and thin enough to be considered a cookie! When fully cooked, sprinkle powdered sugar over top, cut into squares, and they're ready to eat! If you scale down the recipe, you may want to use a smaller pan because these are meant to be thin. Trust me, they go fast!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Combine sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Beat in flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and allspice. Spread batter into the prepared pan; it will just barely reach the corners.
- Bake in the preheated oven until top is dry and edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan, 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle confectioners' sugar on top and cut into squares.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Lightly spray the bottom of a 9X13 inch pan with non-stick spray.
- Line the bottom and sides of the pan with parchment paper, extending the edges 2-3 inches beyond the pan.
- Place the butter on the parchment paper.
- Place in oven until the butter melts, about 5 minute
- Remove pan from oven and spread brownie mix evenly over the melted butter.
- Layer coconut over the brownie mix.
- Scatter chocolate and butterscotch chips evenly over coconut.
- Top with chopped nuts.
- Drizzle condensed milk over entire pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 min, until bubbling and edges are lightly browned.
- Cool for 30 minutes before removing from pan.
- Cut and serve.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line 8-inch square pan with foil, allowing some to hang over edges of pan. Grease bottom and sides of foil with shortening or cooking spray. Make brownie batter as directed on box. Spread in pan.
- Bake 35 to 38 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean.
- Top with coconut, toffee bits, chocolate chips and pecans. Drizzle evenly with condensed milk. Bake 18 to 22 minutes longer or until golden brown and bubbling along edges. Cool completely on cooling rack, about 3 hours. Using foil to lift, remove brownies from pan, and peel foil away. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows.
