Steps:

  • In the Tupperware Season-Serve® Container add all of the ingredients except for the crackers. Close up the container and mix ingredients well by shaking the container. Add all 4 sleeves of Saltine Crackers and close the container. Turn the container over several times to coat crackers with the chile and oil mixture. Let the container rest for a couple of hours, turning the bag every 15 minutes or so. Even better the next day!

1 box saltine crackers (4 sleeves)
1 1/3 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 packet dry ranch dressing mix
1 Tupperware Season-Serve® Container, Big Pickle Jar or 2.5 gallon ziploc bag

Steps:

  • Place the vegetable oil, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, ranch dressing mix, and crushed red pepper flakes in a 2-gallon plastic zipper bag. Seal the bag and smoosh with your hands to thoroughly combine the oil and spices. Place the crackers into the bag, seal, and turn the bag over to cover the crackers with the spice mix. Let the bag sit for about 1 hour, then turn again. Repeat several more times until the crackers are well-coated with spice mix, and allow the bag to sit overnight. Remove crackers and serve.

  • Remove crackers from sleeves and lay in a marinating Tupperware container standing up. All four sleeves will fit perfectly.
  • In a large bowl, mix the remaining ingredients together well. Pour over the crackers and close up the container.
  • Flip the container every 15 minutes for 1 hour (a total of 4 times). Once the crackers have been flipped 4 times, they ar ready to eat! No baking, just take a bite. I like to add garlic powder to the mixture. Add as little or as much as you want.
