Steps:

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and pepper; cook and stir until tender. Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker; stir in remaining ingredients. Cook, covered, on low 5-6 hours or until heated through.

1 can (16 ounces) butter beans, rinsed and drained

1 can (14-1/2 ounces) fire-roasted diced tomatoes, undrained
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground mustard
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

1. Coat inside of slow cooker with non stick cooking spray. Add cut up bacon, hamburger, chopped onion, and celery to a large skillet. Cook hamburger mixture until ground beef is browned and onions are soft. ( drain ) Add remaining ingredients to skillet and stir until well combined. Pour mixture into slow cooker and cook on high 1 hour. Reduce heat to low and continue cooking 3 to 4 more hours. Turn to warm until ready to serve. Every slow cooker temperature varies. Check your dish after 3 hours and adjust cooking time accordingly.

2 stalk(s) celery,finely chopped
30 oz canned pork and beans, do not drain
15 - 20 oz butter beans, drained (or lima beans, drained)
