- Trim fat from chicken and wash thoroughly.
- Place in zip top plastic bag.
- Add salad dressing and beer.
- Allow to marinate at least 4 hours in refrigerator.
- Barbecue chicken on a covered outside grill.
- Frequently baste with marinade, approx.
- every 20 minutes.
- Any kind of beer will do.
- Also any kind of salad dressing- the more robust, the better.

- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F/ Gas 4). Trim the chicken of any fat and place in a shallow dish. Combine the honey, mustard and soy sauce and pour over the chicken, tossing to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours, turning once.
- Place the onion wedges and tomato halves on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Sprinkle with the sugar and drizzle with the balsamic vinegar. Bake for 40 minutes.
- Heat a chargrill pan or hotplate and lightly spray with oil. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Slice and serve with the tomato halves and onion wedges.
