Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar and salt until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in extracts. Gradually add flour., Spread 3 cups dough into a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Spread with pie filling. Drop remaining dough by teaspoonfuls over filling. Bake 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack., In a small bowl, mix confectioners' sugar, extracts and enough milk to reach desired consistency; drizzle over top.

Steps:

  • PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees.
  • COMBINE flour with 1/3 cup brown sugar. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press mixture evenly and firmly onto bottom of ungreased 15 x 10 jelly roll pan or large baking tin. Bake for 15 minutes.
  • MEANWHILE, beat egg slightly in large bowl. Stir in remaining 1/3 cup brown sugar and salt. Add nuts cherries and chocolate chips. Toss mixture evenly to coat.
  • SPOON this mixture evenly over the baked layer. Press down firmly to adhere layers.
  • BAKE an additional 20 minutes.
  • COOL and cut into 1 1/2 by 2 inch bars. Do NOT let this cool too much or you will never get them out of the pan in nice pieces.

  • Cut butter into mixture until it resembles course crumbs.
  • Press into uingreaded 13 x 9 inch baking pan.

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 8- or 9-inch square pan.
  • In medium bowl, mix 1 cup flour, the butter and powdered sugar with spoon until flour is moistened. Press mixture in pan. Bake 10 minutes.

  • In large mixing bowl, mix flour, oats, sugar, pecans, baking soda and butter.
  • Mix at low speed until crumbly.
  • Reserve 1 1/2 cups of mixture for topping; press remainder into bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  • Bake at 350°F 12-15 minutes.
  • Spoon pie filling evenly over crust.

  • In a large bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Pat into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of the dough and spread the rest into the bottom of the prepared pan. Cover this layer evenly with cherry pie filling.
