OVERNIGHT CHOCOLATE BANANA OATS RECIPE

These Overnight Chocolate Banana Oats, are the best. I love waking up, knowing I get to eat these. They are so delicious, healthy, and fun.

Overnight Chocolate Banana Oats Recipe image

Steps:

  • Smash bananas in large bowl.
  • Add all other ingredients and mix until combined.
  • Divide oats into three small mason jars.
  • Store in refrigerator for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  • Top with more bananas and chocolate chips. We like to heat ours up in the microwave when we're ready to eat.

2 cups oats
½ cup peanut butter
1½ cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup mini chocolate chips

CHOCOLATE & BANANA OVERNIGHT OATS

Like dessert for breakfast! You can add more/less sugar if you want but adding the mashed banana in helps sweeten things up a bit. You can also add 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon for even more flavour.

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, mix the oats, milk, cocoa powder and sugar.
  • Mash one of the bananas and stir into the oats.
  • Divide between two bowls or mason jars and store in the fridge overnight.
  • In the morning, slice the other banana and top the oats with the sliced banana and chocolate chunks and serve.

  • Add mashed banana, oats, almond milk, protein powder and chia seeds into a bowl. Stir well to combine, until all the protein powder has dissolved. Divide oat mixture into two containers (I like using mason jars), seal with a lid and place in the fridge overnight.
  • Take one container out of the fridge the next morning and stir the mixture. You'll notice that the protein powder, oats and chia seeds soak up a lot of the liquid so you may want to add a little more almond milk before serving.
