- In large saucepan, melt butter. Sauté garlic in the butter over medium heat for 1 minute, until the garlic is tender. Remove from heat. Stir in flour, blend until smooth. Return to heat and gradually add half and half. Stir in cheese and parsley. Heat until sauce thickened and smooth. Use for garlic chicken pizza or for dipping breadsticks.
GARLIC PIZZA DIPPING SAUCE
This is kind of like the creamy garlic sauce you can get from pizza places. I like it with the garlic raw, but next time i will saute it for a less harsh flavor. Just made this up in the fly tonight!
