DEATH BY CARAMEL BARS
These showy brownies are nice and tall with pockets of caramel goo. They are wicked enough on their own, but for an over-the-top dessert, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle with caramel sauce.

Steps:
- Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well.
- Combine flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add to butter mixture, stirring just until blended.
- Fold in chopped candy bars.
- Spoon batter into a greased aluminum foil-lined 13" x 9" pan coated with cooking spray, allowing foil to extend over ends of pan (Pan will be very full).
- Spoon dollops of dulce de leche over batter; swirl slightly into batter with a knife.
- Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 5 minutes.
- Remove to a wire rack, and cool completely (This may take several hours).
- Use foil to lift uncut brownies out of pan.
- Peel foil away from sides of uncut brownies, and cut into bars.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly butter and flour a 9x9x2-inch square cake pan. Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt together onto a sheet of waxed paper. In top of a double boiler melt chocolate and butter over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until smooth. Remove from heat.
- In an electric mixer mix eggs, sugar and vanilla on high until slightly thickened, about 1 1/2 minutes. Add melted chocolate mixture and mix on medium for 30 seconds. Add flour mixture and mix on low 10 seconds, then on medium 10 seconds. Add sour cream and mix on medium 5 seconds.
- Scrape around sides and bottom of bowl with a rubber spatula to combine thoroughly. Use spatula to fold in chopped chocolate. Pour batter into cake pan and spread evenly. Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Allow brownies to cool 10 to 15 minutes before cutting with a serrated knife.

- Combine cake mix, oil and eggs.
- Mix well.
- Pat 2/3 of the mixture in bottom of greased 13 x 9 baking pan.
- In microwave safe bowl combine margarine, sweetened condensed milk and chocolate/caramel chips.
- Melt until creamy.
- Pour over top of cake mixture.
- Sprinkle remaining cake mixture over top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until brown.
- Chill 2 hours and then cut into bars.

- Preheat oven to 375°F. In medium-size bowl, stir cookie mix, egg, oil and water until soft dough forms. Roll the dough into rounded tablespoon-size balls.
- Stuff 1 chocolate-coated caramel candy into the center of each ball, enclosing the chocolate in the middle of the cookie. Place onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8-10 minutes or until the cookies are just set. Cool a minute or two on the baking sheet and then move to a cooling rack to cool completely.
- Sprinkle with sea salt if desired. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
