PEPPERONI AND SAUSAGE DEEP-DISH PIZZA QUICHE
I have to say, even though I love to cook and bake, quiche is a dish I don't make often. One day I was inspired to make quiche that would be delicious for both breakfast and dinner-pizza is always the answer. -Donna Chesney, Naples, Florida

- Preheat oven to 350°. Sprinkle 1 cup mozzarella and cheddar cheese in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. In a small bowl, beat eggs, cream cheese, milk, Parmesan, garlic powder and Italian seasoning; pour into dish. Bake 30 minutes., Meanwhile, in a small skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink, 5-6 minutes, breaking into crumbles; drain. Spread pizza sauce over egg mixture; top with sausage, pepperoni and remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Bake until golden brown and bubbly, 10-15 minutes longer. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Top with fresh basil if desired.

DEEP-DISH PIZZA QUICHE
Very satisfying for those low-carb pizza cravings. Even my carb-eating family loves this recipe. Obviously this is rich in calories and far from a fat-free quiche. Add your favorite pizza toppings if desired, such as pepperoni, sausage, bacon, chicken, peppers, onion, mushroom, etc.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a pie dish with cooking spray.
- Press 2 cups mozzarella cheese into the bottom and sides of the prepared pie dish for the crust.
- Beat cream cheese and eggs with an electric mixer until smooth. Stir in cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Pour into the pie dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and top with marinara sauce and remaining 1 cup mozzarella. Bake until bubbly, 10 to 12 more minutes.
- Let sit for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Discard drippings, reserving 1 tablespoon in pan. Add onions to drippings; cook and stir over medium heat until caramelized, 20-25 minutes. Stir in thyme, pepper and nutmeg; remove from the heat. Cool slightly. Stir in cheeses and reserved bacon; spoon into crust. Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and cream until blended; pour over top. Place springform pan on a rimmed baking sheet., Bake on a lower oven rack until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean, 75-85 minutes. Cool on a wire rack 15 minutes. Loosen sides from pan with a knife. Remove rim from pan.

- Roll the dough: If you’ve refrigerated the dough for more than 30 minutes, remove it from the refrigerator to soften slightly before rolling. On a generously floured surface roll the dough with a floured rolling pin into a 14- or 15-inch circle that is about 1/8-inch thick.
- Line the pan: Roll the dough over the rolling pin to lift and drape it over and into the springform pan. Lift the edges as you press the dough into the bottom edge of the pan and up the sides; try to avoid stretching it.
