HAWAIIAN ROLL ROAST BEEF AND CHEESE SANDWICHES
Easy, make-ahead, bite-sized sandwiches with Hawaiian rolls.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Spread horseradish on the bottoms of the Hawaiian bread rolls and cover each with 1 slice roast beef and 1 slice Swiss cheese. Cover with top bread rolls.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir onion, brown sugar, spicy mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder until onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Pour over Hawaiian rolls and sprinkle rolls with poppy seeds. Cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven until heated through, about 25 minutes. Uncover and bake until tops are lightly browned, about 10 minutes.

SCRUMPTIOUS STEAK SAMMY
This is our favourite sandwich to have for dinner on a lazy weekend. I like to serve it with sweet potato fries and a Caesar salad. Mmm . . . mmm . . . scrumptious!

Steps:
- Season steaks with salt and pepper; allow steaks to come to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until very hot; lay steaks in pan and cook until they are beginning to firm and are hot and slightly pink in the center, about 5 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 140 degrees F (60 degrees C). Transfer steaks to a warm plate; cover and let rest, about 10 minutes.
- Melt butter in same pan over medium heat; stir in mushrooms and peppers. Season with salt and pepper; cook and stir until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Set oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler.
- Toast buns under the broiler until golden, about 2 minutes. Divide mozzarella cheese over bottom halves of buns; return to broiler until cheese melts, about 2 minutes.
- Slice steak very thinly. Pile steak slices over cheese-topped bun halves; top with mushrooms and peppers. Spread mayonnaise on top halves of buns; place over sandwich.

BIG THICK BUTTERY ROAST BEEF 'N CHEDDAR SAMMIES / SANDWICHES
The name says it all--this sandwich is big, thick and buttery, with a slight kick from the horseradish! Very quick and easy to prepare, makes a yummy lunch or simple dinner. Serve warm, with a pickle spear and chips, add a cup of soup or side salad for a more substantial meal. A side of Avocado Horseradish Spread recipe #284084 #284084 makes a tasty dipping sauce. May use sliced oven roasted or deli roast beef, or my Shredded Beef (Crock Pot) recipe #269126 #269126, pile it on as thickly as you wish, and I hope you enjoy!

Steps:
- For each sandwich:.
- Spread 1/2 teaspoon horseradish on each slice of bread.
- Melt 1 tablespoon butter (or more) in a skillet on medium-low heat. Add a slice of bread to skillet and pile on 1/4 lb. warm roast beef. Top with second bread slice.
- Cook for 4 or 5 minutes until bread is golden. Carefully flip sandwich over. Lift top bread slice and insert a thick slice of cheddar cheese. Cook another 5 minutes until cheese begins to melt and bread is golden.
- Repeat with each sandwich. Makes 4 sandwiches.
- Serve warm, with a pickle spear and chips, add a cup of soup or side salad for a more substantial meal. Avocado Horseradish Spread recipe #284084 makes a lovely sandwich dip.
EASY BEEF SAMMIES
This is great for super bowl parties, birthday parties or any week night meal, make it as spicy or mild as you wwant too!

Steps:
- Turn a frying pan on to meduim high heat and sear roast on all sides, just till browned about 5 minutes.
- put the roast in the crock pot.
- Add with the garlic, broth,salt, pepper and giardnera to crock pot over roast.
- Drop the bouillon cubes around the roast. I usually add three then more to taste when it done.
- Cook on high 4-5 hours or on low for 8 hours.
- pull beef out of broth and put in bowl, let rest for ten minutes then shred with two forks, and add back to crock pot.
- Add salt and pepper to taste or add the last bouillon cube for more beefy flavor.
- Mix and serve on crusty french bread or rolls.
- Note:could also make in dutch oven or on stove top in deep pot cook times would be less.

SESAME BEEF
Strips of round steak and chopped scallions are marinated with soy sauce and garlic, then quickly stir fried with sesame seeds. Add a little sesame oil to the marinade if you like that flavor. Serve with rice.
