Cucumber Salad with Sour Cream and Dill Dressing image

Steps:

In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, lemon juice, and dill. Season with salt and pepper, and whisk well to combine.
Add cucumbers, and toss to coat. Garnish with more dill, if desired. Serve, or refrigerate, covered, up to 4 hours.

Steps:

1. Have a medium to large bowl set out. wash the cucumbers and then pat dry.
2. slice the cucumbers into thin slices. slice white or red onion into rings or dice up and add to the cucumbers. add your salt,pepper and vinegar. Stir up well and chill 2 hours or overnight.
3. Take out the chilled cucumbers and onion mixture and drain off,extra fluid can make your salad runny. once drained, add back to your bowl.
4. Now add remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill until serving time. Great with Fish,Chicken,Beef or as a side dish. Low calorie too and always re-freshing! Enjoy.

2 large cucumbers
1 medium to large white onion or red onion
1/4 cup white vinegar or apple cider vinegar
2 tsps salt(i use less)
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dill,dried or you can use fresh(i used dried,its what was on hand)
3 tbsp sour cream
2 tsps mayonnaise
1 tbsp ranch dressing

DILL CUCUMBER SALAD

Wonderful summer time salad but does not have to be so sweet to be so good. You do not have to marinate it overnight. Two hours is good.

Steps:

Bring vinegar, sugar, water, dill, and salt to a boil in a saucepan until sugar is dissolved. Pour mixture over cucumbers in a large bowl; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours.
Drain and discard vinegar mixture and stir sour cream into cucumbers. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
