EASY FRUIT COBBLER

This cobbler can be made with peaches, apples, cherries, or berries.

Easy Fruit Cobbler image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Melt butter in a 9 x 9 inch baking dish.
  • Blend together flour, baking powder, sugar, and milk.
  • Pour batter in baking dish over the butter. Sprinkle fruit on top of the batter, do not stir. Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown.

2 teaspoons baking powder
¾ cup white sugar
¾ cup milk
¼ cup butter
2 cups sliced fresh peaches

FLIP-FLOP COBBLER

Easy to make, and oh so good. You can use frozen or canned fruit of your choosing, as well as fresh. The crust rises to the top while baking. A family favorite! If preferred, use water instead of fruit juice.

Steps:

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream butter or margarine with 1/2 cup sugar.
  • In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Alternately add these ingredients and the milk to the creamed mixture.
  • Spread batter in greased casserole dish or loaf pan. Top the batter with the fruit, and pour 1 cup of juice over the top of the fruit. Top the fruit with the other 1/2 cup of sugar. (Can omit sugar if the fruit is already sweet enough to your liking.)
  • Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 45 minutes.

Steps:

  • Cut marshmallow bar in half horizontally. Round corners and trim each into flip flop shape. Immediately press candy sprinkles onto cut sides of each flip flop.
  • Unroll Fruit Roll-Ups fruit flavored snack; remove paper. With kitchen scissors, cut 2 strips, 4x3/4 inch each, from fruit flavored snack roll. Fold each strip in half, forming V shape. Press on bars to make flip flop straps. Place Fruit Gushers fruit flavored snack at tip of each V shape.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt stick of butter in oven proof casserole dish in oven while mixing ingredients. Place 1 T margarine on top of berries in a small bowl. Pour 1/2 cup sugar over berries. Stir. Heat in microwave for 1 minute so that sugar begins to melt.
  • Mix together 1 cup flour and 1 cup sugar until blended. Pour in 1 cup milk and mix until blended.
  • After butter is melted, take casserole out of oven and pour batter on top of melted butter. Pour berries on top of batter. DO NOT STIR! Sprinkle a tablespoon of sugar over cobbler. Place in 350 oven and cook for 55 minutes or until golden.
