FROZEN FRUIT SALAD SLUSH

Our family loves this refreshing fruit-filled salad, but it's pretty enough to serve company, too. The salad combines pineapple, bananas, grapes and peaches along with lemonade and orange juice concentrates. It is so good, you'll want seconds. -Brenda Beachy Belvidere, Tennessee

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, stir the bananas and lemonade concentrate until coated. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Cover and freeze for 8 hours or until firm. , Remove from the freezer 1 to 1-1/4 hours before serving so mixture becomes slushy.

  • In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Cover and freeze until firm, 8 hours. Remove from the freezer 45 minutes before serving. Place into chilled bowls; serve immediately.

Steps:

  • Dissolve sugar in boiling water. Add orange juice concentrate, bananas and pineapple, stirring until orange juice is dissolved. Steps:

  • Slice bananas and apricots into large bowl. Add strawberries and pineapple.
  • In 1-quart saucepan, mix sugar and water. Heat to boiling. Cook about 3 minutes or until syrupy. Refrigerate until completely cooled, 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Pour syrup mixture over fruit; mix gently. Pour into freezer container; freeze at least 8 hours or overnight. To serve, let slush stand at room temperature 1 hour. Spoon into dessert dishes.
