Oreo cookie crust,carmel, ice cream and hot fudge... this is a chocolate lovers delight. The kids in our family request this instead of birthday cake. Warning; this is not Weight Watcher Friendly.

Steps:
- Set vanilla ice cream out to soften slightly.
- Spread carmel topping in the bottom of oreo cookie crust.
- Spread partially thawed vanilla ice cream over carmel topping.
- Put in freezer until firm; about 1-2 hours.
- Remove and drizzle hot fudge topping over top.
- If desired sprinkle with nuts and a dollop of whipped topping.
- Keep stored in the freezer to keep ice cream & crust from becoming soggy until ready to serve or if there are leftovers.

CASHEW-FUDGE-CARAMEL ICE CREAM PIE
Crush cookies for an easy crust, then fill with a sultry blend of ice cream, nuts, and ready-made chocolate topping.

- Heat oven to 350°F. In food processor bowl with metal blade, combine vanilla wafers and 1/2 cup of the cashews; process until finely ground. Add butter; process just until crumbly. Press mixture in bottom and up side of 9-inch glass pie pan.
- Bake at 350°F. for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Refrigerate crust for 20 minutes or until completely cooled.
- Spread 1 pint of the ice cream in cooled crust. Spoon or drizzle 1/2 cup of the ice cream topping over ice cream. Freeze about 30 minutes or until partially frozen.
- Top pie with remaining pint ice cream, spreading evenly. Freeze at least 4 hours or until firm.
- To serve, let pie stand at room temperature for 15 minutes. Cut into wedges; place on individual dessert plates. Top with remaining ice cream topping and cashew halves.

- Preheat oven to 375°. Mix cookie crumbs and peanuts; stir in butter. Press onto bottom and up sides of a greased 9-in. pie plate. Bake until set, 10-12 minutes. Cool on a wire rack., Fold candy bars into ice cream; spread into prepared crust. Drizzle with caramel and fudge toppings. Loosely cover and freeze until firm, at least 8 hours. - In a large saucepan, heat the cream and milk to 175°; stir in sugar until dissolved. Whisk a small amount of hot mixture into the eggs. Return all to the pan, whisking constantly. Cook and stir over low heat until mixture reaches at least 160° and coats the back of a metal spoon. , Remove from the heat. Whisk in cream cheese until smooth. Cool quickly by placing pan in a bowl of ice water; stir for 2 minutes. Stir in lemon juice and vanilla. Press plastic wrap onto surface of custard. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight., Fill cylinder of ice cream freezer two-thirds full; freeze according to manufacturer's directions. Refrigerate remaining mixture until ready to freeze. Transfer to a freezer container; freeze for 2-4 hours before serving.

My daughter renamed this recipe 'The Best Dessert I've Ever Eaten' this summer when I prepared it for Memorial Day. I had made it before, but my husband had probably eaten all of it before she had a chance to get a taste! - Arrange a layer of ice cream sandwiches in the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish; top with a layer of whipped topping, hot fudge topping, and caramel topping. - Start by deciding which flavor of ice cream you want on the bottom layer, then take that flavor out of the fridge and let it soften to the point where it is easy to work with.
- Use the full pint of ice cream to create a layer of ice cream in the bottom of the pie crust. Then place the pie in the fridge so that the ice cream can harden up again. This will take about 20 minutes.
- The next layer will be chocolate fudge or caramel – depending on your preference. I recommend warming the sauce in the microwave for just about 15-20 seconds, until it is slightly warmer than room temperature. You want it to be easy to spread, but not hot enough to melt the ice cream. Spread a layer of the chocolate fudge or caramel sauce over the ice cream.
- Return the pie to the freezer for another 20 minutes. After about 10 minutes, remove the second pint of ice cream from the freezer and let it soften a bit. Then remove the pie from the freezer and spread a layer the ice cream onto the pie, using the full pint of ice cream.
