FRIED SWEET BANANAS
A very traditional breakfast or dessert in northeast Brazil, bananas or plantains are fried in butter and coated with cinnamon-sugar. Delicious with vanilla ice cream too.

INDONESIAN BANANAS FOSTER
When I ate bananas Foster the first time, it reminded me of this dish. The concept is the same-sliced bananas with a very sweet sauce. However, the bananas used are plantain bananas, and instead of rum to enhance the sauce, this dessert uses creamy coconut milk. -Loanne Chiu, Fort Worth, Texas

INDONESIAN FRIED BANANAS
A great side dish to an Indonesian meal, or a extended "rijsttafel" which consists of many dishes. Even if you do not coat the banana's with coconut it is still very nice. You can also use half butter, half oil for frying
