JANNELL'S WHISKEY SOUR
Simple recipe for a whiskey sour. Lemon juice blends well with the whiskey for a quick and easy drink. I used Wegman's® brand lemon juice, and Tullamore Dew® Irish Whiskey.

We used Roland brand lemon-and lime-flavored cocktail cherries in this St. Patrick's Day party-ready Irish Whiskey Sour. They're available in most grocery stores and online.

Steps:
- Put egg white in a shaker; shake until frothy, 30 seconds. Fill shaker halfway with ice; add whiskey, superfine sugar, and juices. Shake 30 seconds.
- Wet the rims of two short glasses with an orange slice, then dip in sanding sugar. Add ice; pour in drink. Serve, with an orange slice and lemon and lime cherries.

- Shake contents of the cocktail shaker for 45 seconds - 1 minute to help froth up the egg white. The cocktail shaker should feel cold to the touch when finished.
- Pour contents of the cocktail shaker into a rock glass through a fine sieve. This will catch any leftover egg white and can be discarded.
