CHOCOLATE COBBLER
A cousin of mine gave me this chocolate cobbler recipe and honestly it is the best thing I have eaten in a long time. Serve it warm with vanilla ice cream.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in an 8x8 baking dish while the oven preheats. Stir together the flour, 3/4 C. sugar, 1 1/2 T. cocoa. Stir in milk and vanilla till smooth. Spoon this mixture over the melted butter. Stir together the remaining cup of sugar and 1/4 C. cocoa powder. Sprinkle over the batter mixture. Slowly pour the boiling water over the top of the mixture. Bake for 30 minutes

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Melt butter in an 8x8 inch baking dish while the oven preheats.
- In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa. Stir in milk and vanilla until smooth. Spoon this batter over the melted butter in the baking dish.
- Stir together the remaining cup of sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa powder. Sprinkle over the batter. Slowly pour boiling water over the top of the mixture.
- Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until set. Serve slightly warm with ice cream.

I make this for my church members and they love it with a little vanilla ice cream. I make it in a full sized restaurant pan that is 2" deep...Never any leftovers!

Steps:
- 1. Mix the first 8 ingredients together until smooth. Pour into a full size 2" restaurant pan that has been sprayed with non-stick spray.
- 2. Next, mix the 2 c. sugar, 2 c. brown sugar, and 1 c. Hershey's cocoa. Sprinkle over the batter in pan. Do not stir.
- 3. Next, pour 5 c. boiling water on top of sugar mixtures and do not stir.
- 4. Bake at 350 degrees until top is slightly set. Makes its own hot fudge sauce. Let stand 15 min.
