5-Ingredient Fix Contest Entry. A perfect combination of buffalo chicken & cheesy potatoes. Easily adaptable to your tastes: Buffalo sauce, dressing, and cheese or combination of cheeses, all to your liking. We prefer Sweet Baby Rays buffalo sauce, bleu cheese salad dressing, and a combination of quesadilla cheese for its creaminess and bleu cheese crumbles. But if feeding kids I've used a mild sauce, ranch, and cheddar.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Spray a 9x9 or 8x8 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl combine chicken chunks & buffalo sauce, set aside.
  • In large bowl combine potatoes, dressing, and 1-1/2 cups cheese.
  • Spread half of potato mix in baking dish, spread chicken chunks over potatoes, cover with remaining potato mix.
  • Top with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
  • Cover with foil.
  • Bake in 400F oven, 25 minutes.
  • Remove foil bake another 20-25 minutes.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In large bowl combine potatoes, bell pepper, sausage and 1 cup of the cheese and mix well.
  • Pour the potato mixture into a 9 x 13 baking dish/pan.
  • Cut the butter into pieces and place over the top evenly then spread the remaining cup of cheese on the top.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes (make sure cheese on top is melted) and enjoy!

When I first met my husband, he swore he hated onions. I didn't tell him til he was finnished that there were onions in this dish! They are a family favorite. The onions are what gives this dish it's good flavor. You will want to lick the bowl!

Steps:

  • Chunk potatoes into large pieces and put in sauce pan.
  • Add onion and salt.
  • Cover with water.
  • Cover and boil until a fork goes easily into potatoes.
  • Drain all but 2 inches of water from the pan.About 3/4c.
  • Add Velveeta.
  • Cover and return to burner.
  • When mostly melted, stir.
  • Top with parsley and pepper.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes.The longer they sit the better they are.
  • You can't make enough!
  • Hope the correction helps.

6 -8 small russet potatoes, peeled
1 onion, chopped in large pieces
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 lbs Velveeta cheese, cubed

Steps:

  • Brown the hash browns in a large skillet on med-med high heat. When they are cooked through and crisp top with entire 8oz bag of cheese covering potatoes entirely. Cover and let melt. pour can of chili over the top of this and heat thoroughly. Turn heat off and sprinkle onion over the top of the chili. Using a teaspoon cover the dish with dollops of sour cream.

Steps:

  • Place simply Potatoes with diced onions in large bowl.
  • Pour 1/4 cup black truffle oil on top.
  • Add other seasoning on top.

Kickin' Jalapeno Tater Tots #5FIX image

Steps:

  • Fill a heavy saucepan with canola oil to about 2 inches deep and place over medium high heat. Using a candy thermometer, heat oil until it reaches 325 degrees.
  • Place shredded hash browns in food processor (working in batches if necessary) and pulse until pieces are broken down into smaller bits. 8 - 10 pulses.
  • Place chopped hash browns in a bowl and add cornstarch, peppers, and 1 tsp salt. Mix to combine.
  • Shape mixture into tots or small balls about 3/4" in diameter.
  • Working in batches, fry tots in canola oil until golden brown, about 2 - 3 minutes each batch. Remove tots with a slotted spoon to a paper-towel lined plate or sheet pan. Sprinkle with remaining 1 tsp salt. Serve immediately.

  • Heat a large skillet with high sides on medium heat and add the beef tips inches Cook them until they are brown all over.
  • Turn off the heat on the tips and drain any liquids in the pan.
  • Add the Browning Seasoning Sauce to your tips while raising the heat to medium.
  • When the Tips start to sizzle a bit add in the water and wait until it starts to boil.
  • Immediately as it begins to boil turn the heat down to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Add flour to tips and continue to simmer on low for another 10 minutes.
  • Begin cooking your Simply Potatoes: Traditional Mashed Potatoes as directed on packaging.
  • Turn heat off tips and allow to cool/thicken (Cook longer if you prefer more tender tips).
