AUNT KATHY'S OVEN BURGERS
Gooey melted cheese, savory special sauce... what could be better?!

Steps:
- 1. Combine ground sirloin and montreal steak seasoning in large bowl, fold lightly. Do not overwork meat. **optional additions 1 large clove garlic minced 3T bacon bits
- 2. Fry burgers on stovetop or grill until they are light pink in the middle not quite fully cooked. they will continue to cook in the oven.
- 3. Add sauce to top and bottom of burger buns, add a slice of american cheese on one side of bun and a slice of swiss cheese on the other side then place cooked sirloin burger on bun and top with a slice of onion & jalepeno (optional).
- 4. Wrap each burger in foil and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Just to melt cheese & cook onion slightly. I serve these with a cold potato salad or pasta salad and veggies or chips.

Steps:
- Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together egg, salt and pepper. Place ground beef and bread crumbs into the mixture. With hands or a fork, mix until well blended. Form into 4 patties approximately 3/4 inch thick.
- Place patties on the prepared grill. Cover and cook 6 to 8 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.

BIG GOOEY MESSY BURGERS
When my daughter was little she would always ask me to make"those big, gooey messy burgers" (most of us call them sloppy joes) however the tangy sweet flavor always gets huge reviews & recipe requests. I make on stove top then put in the crockpot and I never have any leftovers, my husband, co workers and family often request me to make these, I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

- Slice onions into half rings, slice mushrooms. On high heat and fry mushroom and onions, season with salt and pepper until both are golden brown. Remove all ingredients into a bowl.
- Place them in same skillet you used for onions, turn heat on low. Cook each side 5 minutes on one side and 4 minutes on the other side.
- Place slice of cheese on bottom bun, cooked meat, onion/mushroom mixture, cover top bun with mayo and ketchup, cover the burger with top.
