- Use bread machine that produces 1 1/2-lb or larger loaf. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Measure remaining ingredients carefully. Follow manufacturer's directions for placing ingredients in bread machine pan.
- Select Basic/White cycle. Do not use delay cycle. Follow manufacturer's directions for starting machine.

ITALIAN PARMESAN BREAD FOR BREAD MACHINE
I've been making this bread for years without measuring, and finally decided to write it down. My most requested bread from my bread-lovin' son. Makes the house smell divine!! You can easily increase the amounts of seasonings to your taste. (NOTE: Many people seem to be needing to add extra water, so I'm adding an adjustment to the recipe.)

- Mine is water first, then flour, then seasonings and cheese, lastly yeast.
- Run on basic or delay cycle.
PARMESAN CHEESE BREAD---BREAD MACHINE
This has a wonderful taste and texture. It makes good sandwiches and delicious toast. Put it on the light setting so the cheese doesn't get too brown on the outside. Yummmm!

- Add the ingredients to your bread machine according to your directions.
- Set it at the basic setting.
- Then at the light crust setting.
- Makes a 2 pound loaf.
- After it has mixed for a couple of minutes, check it; if it needs a tad more liquid, add a little water a teaspoon dribble at a time.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease and flour a 9 inch square pan or four 3 inch by 6 inch mini loaf pans.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnnamon and salt and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together oil, brown sugar and eggs, pour into flour mixture and stir well (batter will be chunky).
- Stir in walnuts, pineapple, raisins and carrots.
- Pour into prepared pan (s) and bake 30-40 minutes (20 minutes for mini pans) or until lightly browned.

Do you love the smell of bread baking? I do. This bread is wonderful. It makes great toast and smells so good while in the toaster. It also makes great sandwiches. I always use Parmesan cheese but grated cheddar could be used.

Steps:
- Mix the milk, sugar, salt, and margarine together.
- In a small bowl mix the warm water (115 degrees) and the yeast; mix well; proof for a few minutes.
- Add the yeast mixture to the above milk mixture.
- Add the cheese.
- Add the flour to the right consistency.
- Knead 100 times.
- Put in a greased bowl and rise in a warm place till double in bulk--about 1 hour.
- Knead again for about 1/2 minute.
- Put into 2 small greased bread pans.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour being careful not to burn it; if it starts to look too brown, cover it with foil and continue baking.
- NOTE: If you four-times this recipe, it will make 5 good size loaves and will use 2 large Parmesan cheese.
