SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS II
I got this recipe from my mother-in-law shortly after I was married. Now it is a favorite of our kids. I like to serve it over rice.

Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine beef, egg, onion, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Roll into meatballs about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in size.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, saute the meatballs until browned on all sides.
- In a separate medium bowl, mix together the water, vinegar, ketchup, cornstarch, sugar and soy sauce. Pour over the meatballs, and allow sauce to thicken. Continue to heat until the sauce just starts to bubble.

Steps:
- Mix meat, onion, egg, salt, pepper and matzah meal togther and form meatballs.
- Bake meatballs on cookie sheet at 350 for about 30 minutes.
- Mix cranberry sauce and chili sauce together in pan on stove, low heat.
- Add meatballs to sauce and cook covered on low heat until done.

- 1. Make meatballs as you would your meat loaf I roll mine and bake them until almost done in sauce pan melt your grape jelly and chili sauce drain meatballs and put all in crockpot for best taste I do mine over night
MOMMOM'S SWEET & SOUR MEATBALLS
This is a recipe from my cousin's hubby's grandmother. She would always make this for the holiday season. Very unusual, but very good!

- 1. Meatballs: Mix ground chuck, onion, salt, pepper and breadcrumbs. Form meat mixture into small meatballs about the size of a melon ball or small walnut.
- 2. Put cranberries into the pot that you will be using to cook the entire mixture and simmer on low until it's "melted".
- 3. Sauce Arturo: Mix mushrooms, water, tomato paste, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, salt, garlic, pepper, giner, nutmeg, onion powder and paprika in a saute' pan and cook on low until it begins to bubble. Add this mixture to the cranberries in the pot.
- 4. Add raw meatballs to the sauce mixture in the pot. Add waterif the sauce is too thick. Cover the pot with lid and cook "until they smell really good" and the meatballs are done.
DOM'S MOM'S TENDER MEATBALLS
I got this recipe from my Cooking Light friends though this isn't exactly a light recipe! But it's oh so good!

- Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly; let stand 1/2 hour. Shape into medium-sized meatballs. Fry gently in olive oil until lightly brown, or place on foil in a cookie sheet and bake in a 350 oven for 30 minutes.
- Gently place in your own hot spaghetti sauce and cook on medium-low heat for one hour.

- In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into 2 dozen 1-1/2-in. balls. Place in a greased 2-qt. baking dish. , For sauce, combine brown sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Growing up my brothers n I loved this recipe. We'd fight over who got the most meatballs and over the pineapple bits my dad wouldn't eat. (Haha I always sat next to him so I'd steal them before anyone noticed!)

- Meatballs:.
- Mix all ingredients,shape into balls,cook in oven(350) for around 25minutes.
- Sauce:.
- Mix brown sugar and cornstarch in pot,stir in pineapple ,soy sauce and vinegar.
- Heat to boiling,add ketchup after it thickens.
- Add to meatballs with green peppers and cook,covered for twenty minutes.
- Serve over rice.
- I sometimes add 1 extra tablespoon of cornstarch to make it thicker,and I only use 1 can of pineapple.
- **Don't substitute Orange Juice for pineapple! My mom did that once and no one liked it.
