Mountain Dew Cake 2 Recipes

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
• In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, oil, eggs and citrus soda. Mix until all ingredients are moistened.
• Pour into prepared 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool completely.
• To make the topping: In a saucepan, combine pineapple (with juice), sugar and corn starch. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from heat. Add butter and coconut. Spread topping evenly over cake.

• Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
• Grease bundt pan with solid shortening and dust with flour.
• Combine cake mix, oil, water, Mountain Dew, eggs, and pudding mix.
• Pour into pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.
• For glaze: Combine butter, Mountain Dew, and sugar in a saucepan.
• Cook until mixture coats spoon.
• Pour over cake while in pan.
• Let cool completely before removing from pan.

• Preheat oven to 325° Spray a 12 to 15 cup fluted pan with nonstick baking spray with flour.
• In a large bowl, combine cake mix and pudding mix. Add soda, oil, and eggs. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
• Pour batter into prepared pan, and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
• Let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.

Steps:

• Mix all the ingredients for cake (if you can't find an orange cake mix use a yellow cake mix with a capful of orange extract). Pour cake batter into a 9x13 pan.
• Bake cake at 350°F oven for 45-50 minutes.
• Mix the ingredients (except coconut) for icing & cook until thickened; then add coconut. Then pour warm mixture onto cake.
