ONE-POT SHRIMP AND SPINACH FETTUCCINE ALFREDO PASTA RECIPE BY TASTY

One-Pot Shrimp And Spinach Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta Recipe by Tasty image

Steps:

  • In a large pot, heat the butter over medium-high heat until browned.
  • Toss in the shrimp and season with salt and black pepper. Sear just until pink on both sides. Remove the shrimp from the pot and set aside.
  • Sauté the garlic and bacon until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add in the spinach and stir until it begins to wilt.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir the pot to combine. Let the sauce come up to a simmer and reduce until thick and creamy, about 5 minutes.
  • Toss in the fettuccine, sprinkle over the parmesan cheese.
  • Sprinkle in the parsley and add the shrimp back to the pot. Toss until everything has warmed through.
  • Remove from heat and serve. Top with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.

Steps:

  • In a heated pot, melt butter and olive oil. Add garlic and shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Cook until shrimp is pink, then put aside.

  • Prepare pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Drain well; return to pan. Stir in spinach; toss well until spinach wilts.
  • Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp. Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon salt; sauté 2 minutes or until shrimp are done. Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil, and salt it. Meanwhile, mince the garlic as finely as possible and combine it in the bottom of a warm bowl with the red pepper flakes, olives and olive oil.
  • Place the pasta in the pot, and cook until it is nearly done (test it for doneness by tasting). Plunge the spinach into the water, and cook until it wilts, less than a minute. Drain quickly, allowing some water to cling to the pasta, and toss pasta and spinach in the bowl with the garlic and olive mixture. Season with salt and pepper, and serve.

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over MEDIUM heat. Add the onion to the skillet, and cook, stirring often, until softened, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for another minute or two.
  • Add the broth, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, and the pasta. Increase heat and bring to a boil. Cover the skillet, reduce to LOW and simmer for 15 to 18 minutes, or until pasta is al dente.
  • Stir in the half and half or cream, half of the Parmesan, and the shrimp and cook over MEDIUM-LOW heat until the shrimp is opaque, slightly pink, and cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add the spinach in a big heap on top. You want spinach to still have some life to it so remove the skillet from the heat after you add it and stir it in just until it wilts. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan over the top, and serve.
