PEANUT BUTTER KRISPY RICE SQUARES
Steps:
- Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, allowing 1-inch wings to hang over the edges; set aside.
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and salt and cook, stirring, until the marshmallows are melted and smooth. Remove from the heat and stir in the peanut butter and vanilla (the peanut butter can still be swirly). Add the cereal, crushed graham crackers, chocolate chips and sprinkles and fold with a large rubber spatula to combine.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, using the spatula to spread it out evenly. Place a piece of parchment on top and then use your hands to press the mixture down very firmly. Top with additional sprinkles as desired. Let the mixture firm up in the refrigerator for 1 hour, then cut into squares.
CLASSIC CRISPY RICE TREATS
Gooey marshmallows and crispy rice cereal come together in this recipe for the all-original favorite. We added a splash of vanilla extract and pinch of salt to give these sweet treats a palatable punch. Cut into squares, store between a few pieces of wax paper (to prevent any sticking) and enjoy for up to three days.

Steps:
- Line a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with aluminum foil, leaving a 2-inch overhang on each of the longer sides. Spray the foil lightly with cooking spray.
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the marshmallows and cook, stirring occasionally, until melted and smooth, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and salt.
- Working quickly, add the rice cereal to the pot and stir with a rubber spatula until evenly coated. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and press into an even, compact layer. (Spray your hands with a little cooking spray to keep them from sticking when pressing the cereal mixture into the pan). Decorate with toppings if using (see Cook's Note).
- Let sit at room temperature until firm, about 30 minutes. Cut into 24 squares. Store the cereal treats at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

THE ORIGINAL RICE KRISPIES TREATS SQUARES
This is the recipe for the original rice krispies treats squares...It never fails! Plus, it is a great way to use up a box of cereal! For best results, use fresh marshmallows. I have replaced the butter once with Mott's Healthy Baking butter or oil substitute (it was basically an unsweetened apple sauce) and they still turned out great!

RICE KRISPIES CONFETTI SQUARES
This awesome recipe was adapted from a Martha Stewart recipe - you can change the cereals to suit your taste and I often use Captain Krunch cereal instead of the Fruit Loops. As long as you have 18 cups of cereal, you can make any combination your family loves! Enjoy!

- Line a 9" x 13" pan with parchment paper, letting two opposite sides overhang the pan. Set aside.
- In a very large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add 2 of the bags of marshmallows and stir almost constantly until they are completely melted. Stir in salt. Remove from heat and pour in Rice Krispies, folding gently the whole time until all is combined. Then gently fold in final bag of marshmallows so that these marshmallows stay whole.
- Press mixture into the parchment paper lined pan to make a flat surface. I like to use the buttery side of the butter wrappers just used for the recipe - this helps you press in the mixture without sticking. Let cool completely. Then lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper overhangs. Cut into squares.
- In a medium microwave-safe bowl, very gently melt the white chocolate on a lower heat seating in the microwave, stirring often. Take special care to not let the chocolate scorch, or it will be ruined. You could also melt the chocolate on the stovetop using a double boiler. Once chocolate is almost all melted, just continue to stir until it is completely melted. Remove chocolate from heat. Then stir in candy coloring, to your desired color.
