SMOKY MESQUITE STEAK PIZZA

Made with strips of skillet-cooked steak and A.1. sauce, this Smoky Mesquite Steak Pizza is definitely not your mama's pizza!

Smoky Mesquite Steak Pizza image

Steps:

  • Cook steak in large skillet on medium-high heat 10 to 12 min. or until medium doneness (160ºF), turning after 6 min. and brushing with 2 Tbsp. steak sauce for the last few minutes. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 min.
  • Cut steak across the grain into thin strips; place in medium bowl. Add beans, remaining steak sauce and garlic; mix lightly.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup cheese over pizza crust; top with meat, onions, remaining cheese, tomatoes and peppers.
  • Bake 10 min. or until cheese is melted and edge of crust is golden brown.

1 ready-to-use baked pizza crust (12 inch)
1/2 cup sliced red onions
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped green peppers

SMOKY STEAK MARINADE

Friends of ours invited us over and made steaks using this marinade. It was SO GOOD! We had to have the recipe. Adding other ingredients to it didn't make it better, at least not for us.
