ST. GERMAIN GIN AND TONIC
WOW was this good. I just adore St. Germain - and a little goes a long way. It takes the edge off the gin (I used Hendrick because it's a bit more floral in flavor). I garnish with an orange to continue with the flowery fruity aura of this recipe. This is a great drink for poolside. I thought I made this recipe up a couple nights ago, but I just found it on the St. Germain website (although they recommend a garnish of lime or lemon).

- Combine the gin or vodka, St. Germain, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is very cold, about 20 seconds.
- Strain into a champagne glass and top with champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist and enjoy! (Pro tip: I like to rub the inside of the lemon peel around the rim of the glass first. It gives the drink an extra burst of citrusy freshness and flavor.)
