HEALTHY LEMON AND COCONUT BLISS BALLS RECIPE BY TASTY

Here's what you need: rolled oats, coconut flakes, ground-up flaxseeds, pure maple syrup, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, unrefined coconut oil, vanilla extract, extra desiccated coconut and lemon zest

Healthy Lemon And Coconut Bliss Balls Recipe by Tasty image

Steps:

  • Blend all the dry ingredients in a food processor until well combined.
  • Add in wet ingredients and pulse till a sticky dough is formed.
  • Roll dough into balls and coat with desiccated coconut and lemon zest.
  • Leave in the refrigerator to set for at least an hour.
  • Serve.

1 cup rolled oats
1 cup coconut flakes, unsweetened, (or ½ cup (50 G) desiccated coconut)
1 tablespoon ground-up flaxseeds
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup, or pure honey
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon unrefined coconut oil, melted
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
extra desiccated coconut and lemon zest

TASTY BUNCHES A.K.A. HEALTHY BALLS

This is a healthy treat I came up with when I had some extra dates and almond butter on hand. The name came from my three year old who started stuffing them into her mouth after her first taste. A great snack for the kids, but my husband likes them too! Enjoy.
