TEX-MEX SLOPPY JOES
Steps:
- In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat for 6-8 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking up beef into crumbles; drain. Add garlic; cook 1-2 minutes longer. Stir in the ketchup, chiles, broth, chili sauce and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally., Meanwhile, spread cut sides of buns with butter. Place on baking sheets, buttered side up. Broil 4 in. from the heat for 1-2 minutes or until toasted. Serve beef mixture in buns.

Steps:
- Cook ground beef in 12-inch skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Add onion and bell pepper; continue cooking 3-4 minutes or until vegetables are softened. Add all remaining ingredients except bread and cheese. Reduce heat to low; cook 5-10 minutes or until thickened.
- Heat broiler.
- Place bread onto ungreased baking sheet; broil 4 to 6 inches from heat, turning once, 4-6 minutes or until toasted. Top each with 1 slice cheese; continue broiling until melted. Top each with 1/2 cup beef mixture and 1 slice cheese; continue broiling 1 minute or until melted. Serve hot.

Steps:
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef; drain off fat.
- Add the Sloppy Joes Seasoning Mix, tomato sauce, ketchup and chopped green chiles.
- Stir in the pinto beans.
- Cover and simmer about 10 minutes.
- Serve over hamburger buns.
- Shake on a few dashes of Tabasco Sauce, (opt.) and some shredded cheddar cheese.
- Serves 8.
- Note: Prep time includes browning the ground beef.
