Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine oats, Shredded Wheat and bran. Add buttermilk, water, oil and eggs; stir for 1 minute. Stir in brown sugar. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; add to the cereal mixture until blended. , Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full. Bake at 400° for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks.

Haven't tried these but got the recipe from my mom, who says they're wonderful...Update. They are wonderful. Made them last night and we've already eaten half of them. Great for breakfast...They will keep you full until lunch.

Steps:
- Mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon together. Set aside.
- Combine Grape nuts, oats and milk. Let stand 3 minutes. Add oil and egg to cereal mixture.Then add to flour mixture. Stir enough to moisten flour. Batter will be thick.
- Spoon into greased or paper-lined muffins cups, 3/4 full. Mix topping ingredients together and top muffins before baking.
- Bake at 450 for 15 minutes.

HOT GRAPE-NUTS CEREAL
So quick and easy that it really isn't even a recipe. You can have warm cereal on a cold day without any muss or fuss. I have added fresh fruit (blueberries are a favorite) after heating the cereal. Brown sugar could be subbed for the honey. Or, eliminate the extra sweetener and use vanilla soy milk instead of regular milk. The possibilities are endless.

- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Grease 6 13x9x2" pans.
- Combine flour, brown sugar, baking soda and salt.
- Add buttermilk, butter, vanilla and maple flavoring, if desired.
- Spread into baking pans.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
- Cool; break up and process in processor until pieces are small.
- Reduce oven to 250°.
- Return cereal to pans and bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes, or until light brown and crisp.

- Put dry ingredients in a bowl, except soda which should be added to milk just before adding milk to dry ingredients.
- Last add oleo and flavorings; mix well.
- Dough should be fairly thick.
- If too thick, add milk, if too thin, add flour.

- 1. Heat oven to 400^. Spray 12-16 regular size muffin wells--(cupcake pan);with no stick spray..set aside. In a medium bowl add the cereal and milk,mix slightly-then set aside.
- 2. In a large bowl combine the flour, baking powder,baking soda,cinnamon, brown sugar and salt.Mix with large spatula to combine and break up any sugar lumps. Set aside.
- 3. To the cereal /cream bowl add the egg and beat with a spoon. Stir in the peach butter,vanilla, melted butter and nuts..stir to combine well. Stir this mixture into the flour mixture and fold until flour is mixed in, only until moistened.
- 4. Spoon batter evenly into the prepared muffin cups, fill each cup to the top. Bake 22-25 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool in pan 2 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool.

- Cook the bacon, cool, crumble, set aside.
