Steps:

  • In 12-inch skillet, cook sliced sausage, onion and garlic 5 to 7 minutes or until onion softens and sausage starts to brown.
  • Stir in sauce, tomatoes, chicken broth and tortellini. Cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tortellini is cooked.
  • Remove from heat; sprinkle with cheese and basil. Serve when cheese has melted.

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan cook tortellini according to package directions. Place frozen vegetable in colander. Drain the hot pasta over vegetables to thaw; return pasta-vegetable mixture to pan.
  • Meanwhile, in a small saucepan combine cream cheese and milk; heat and stir until cheese is melted. Heat chicken according to package directions.
  • Stir cheese sauce into cooked pasta-vegetable mixture. Cook and gently stir until heated through. Spoon into individual serving bowls. Top with chicken.

Steps:

  • Cook and drain tortellini as directed on package.
  • Melt butter in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook zucchini and onion in butter, stirring occasionally, until zucchini is crisp-tender; reduce heat to medium.
  • Stir in flour, dill weed, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in cheese until melted.
  • Fold in tortellini; cook until hot.

Steps:

  • Crumble the ground beef and Italian sausage into a large skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until browned. Drain.
  • Combine the ground meats, marinara sauce, mushrooms, and tomatoes in a slow cooker. Cover, and cook on LOW heat for 7 to 8 hours.
  • Stir in the tortellini, and sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top. Cover and cook for 15 more minutes on LOW, or until the tortellini is tender.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF (190ºC).
  • Add a teaspoon of olive oil to a heavy saucepan and brown the beef over medium-high heat. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Mix in the dried herbs. Move beef to one side of the hot pan and add in onions. Stir to soften, then add garlic.
  • Mix in crushed tomatoes. Bring to a boil and cook for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste and season with salt and pepper as necessary.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Spoon a thin layer of meat sauce in the bottom of a casserole dish. Layer as follows: tortellini, cheese, basil, sauce, tortellini, cheese, basil, sauce, and cheese.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbling.
