These cookies remind me of peanut butter fudge. My Grandmother made them for us, and now I make them for my family. There is nothing healthy about this recipe but it is a great sweet-tooth fixer.

Steps:

Line a baking sheet with waxed paper. Bring the sugar and corn syrup to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat; stir in butter and peanut butter until thoroughly mixed, and remove from heat.
Place the corn flakes into a large bowl, and pour the peanut butter mixture over the cereal. Mix until the corn flakes are coated with the mixture. Drop by tablespoon onto the waxed paper; flatten slightly if desired. Allow to cool before serving.

WHOLESOME PEANUT BUTTER-CORN FLAKE BARS image

Steps:

1. Butter a square pan, 9x9x2inches. Heat corn syrup and sugar just to a boiling point in a 3 qt. pan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, gently stir in cereal, and peanut butter until smooth and evenly coated.
2. Press firmly into the 9x9 pan. Let set for about 1 hour or till set. Cut into 4 rows by 3 rows. Store loosely covered at room temperature. Or hide them....they seem to vanish !!!....LOL

2/3 c light corn syrup or honey
1/3 c sugar
1/4 c creamy peanut butter
6 c total corn flakes cereal
1/2 c salted peanuts if desired.

Steps:

Cook syrup and sugar until mixture comes to a boil. Stir constantly; do not overcook.
Remove from heat, add peanut butter, and stir until smooth. Pour mixture over cornflakes in a large bowl. Mix until cereal is thoroughly coated.
Spread in a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan and press down lightly with buttered hands. When cool, cut into squares.

Steps:

Heat peanut butter, sugar and corn syrup over low heat to melt. Stir in cereal.
Pat into a 8x8 lightly greased pan. (I line my pan with foil and then lightly spray it. When it is time to cut them, the foil lifts right out.).
Melt chocolate chips over low heat or in the microwave and spread over top. Cool until firm.

In a microwave safe bowl or stovetop, melt your peanut butter with pure maple syrup. Pour over the corn flakes and mix until fully combined. For ultra gooey corn flake crunch bars, add an extra tablespoon or two or maple syrup.
Pour mixture into the lined pan and lightly wet your hands. Press bars firmly into place and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until firm. Cut into bars.
