3 Ingredients Coconut Milk Powder Burfi image

Steps:

  • Pour water in a pot.
  • Add sugar and allow it to come to boil till the mixture has one thread consistency.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Pour coconut milk powder into this mixture and mix thoroughly and quickly.
  • Spoon out the mixture into a greased tray.
  • While the burfi mixture is still warm, cut it into pieces with a sharp knife. Otherwise, let it cool and then break into pieces. The choice is yours. I prefer to do it while it is still warm.
  • Store in an airtight container for upto a week but I am sure it won't last that long because its quite yum and will be gone in the belly soon :).
  • Enjoy!

  • In a kadhai add 1/4 cup ghee then add 1 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar in it. Cook it on medium flame and stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves in the ghee and water.
  • When the sugar is dissolved then add 2/3 cup milk powder and stir it continuously so that milk is combined well in the water and no lumps are formed.
  • Then add 1 cup desiccated coconut in it and stir continuously until the mixture comes together and it becomes thick.
  • When the mixture turns thick, turn off the flame and transfer the coconut mixture to the greased cake tin or any plate or mould. Press the mixture gently to flatten it from all the side.
