"500" CAKE
Great cake with dates and nuts. Found in an old Woman's Circle cook book and made many times over the years.

Steps:
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs.
- Add sour cream and bananas alternately with sifted dry ingredients.
- Fold in dates which have been dusted with flour so they don't sink to the bottom.
- Add vanilla.
- Pour into greased cake pans or cupcake tins.
- Bake 350 for 30 minute.
- I've done this in two 8x8" pans or a 9x13" pan.
- Buttermilk can be used instead of the sour cream.
