Almendras Saladas (Salted Almonds) image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a baking pan spread almonds in one layer and toast in middle of oven until golden, about 12 minutes. Toss almonds with oil and salt until coated well. Serve warm.

2 cups blanched whole almonds
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoons coarse or fine sea salt

Steps:

  • Pour 1 inch depth of olive oil into a saucepan and heat to 380 degrees.
  • Fry the almonds until lightly golden.
  • Drain, sprinkle with the salt and paprika and mix well.
  • Place in small bowl for Tapas serving. (Let cool slightly before serving.).
