- Place one graham cracker on a serving plate. Spread with 2 heaping tablespoons of applesauce. Repeat layers, ending with applesauce. Spread the whipped topping over top and sides. Sprinkle with nuts if desired. Refrigerate for 2 hours before slicing.

- In a large bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, 1/2 cup peanut butter and butter; spoon half into a 3-qt. bowl. , In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth; fold in whipped topping. Spread half over crumb mixture in the bowl. Top with one can of apple pie filling. , Combine the confectioners' sugar, cinnamon and remaining peanut butter until crumbly; sprinkle half over pie filling. Repeat layers. Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a 9x9-inch cake pan with non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and Splenda. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, baking powder, salt.
- Add dry ingredients to wet, mix well to combine.
- Add milk and walnuts, stirring until just combined.
- Spread half of mixture into prepared cake pan.
- Spread half of pie filling over top.
- Spread remaining batter carefully over apples and arrange remaining apple pie filling over top.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
- Place cake pan on a wire rack and let set for at least 10 minutes before removing from pan.
