Banana Honey Dream Recipes

Steps:

• Beat butter at medium speed with mixer in a large mixing bowl; add honey, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition, add the banana and mix well.
• Combine flour, soda, and salt; stir in pecans. Add to the butter mixture, stirring just until the dry ingredients are moistened.
• Spoon batter into a lightly greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
• Bake 350°F for 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely.

Steps:

• In a small heavy saucepan, heat milk and sugar until bubbles form around sides of pan. Whisk in honey. Quickly transfer to a large bowl; place in ice water and stir 2 minutes., Puree bananas; add to cooled milk mixture with 1 cup cream, extracts and salt. Press waxed paper onto surface of milk mixture. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight., In a small bowl, beat remaining cream until soft peaks form; fold into banana mixture. Fill cylinder of ice cream freezer two-thirds full; freeze according to the manufacturer's directions, adding banana chips during last minute. When ice cream is frozen, transfer to a freezer container; freeze for 2-4 hours., To assemble sandwiches, spread ice cream onto each of 10 graham cracker halves. Top with remaining graham crackers; press down gently., In a shallow dish, combine peanuts and jimmies. Roll sides of ice cream sandwiches in peanut mixture. Wrap in plastic; freeze on a baking sheet at least 1 hour.

• Whisk 1 cup warm water, egg, and 2 tablespoons oil in large bowl to blend. Add yeast, then flour, whisking until smooth. Cover and let stand at room temperature until batter has almost doubled in volume, about 2 hours. Stir in coconut, sesame seeds, and nutmeg. Cut bananas on deep diagonal into eighteen 1/2-inch-thick slices. (Reserve any remaining bananas for another use.) Add banana slices to batter; stir gently to coat. • Pour vegetable oil into heavy medium saucepan to depth of 1 1/2 inches. Attach deep-fry thermometer and heat oil to 350°F. Insert fork into 1 banana slice and transfer to oil. Repeat with 5 banana slices. Fry until crisp and golden on all sides, about 3 minutes. Using slotted spoon, transfer fritters to paper-towel-lined plate to drain. Repeat with remaining bananas in 2 more batches. Divide fritters among 6 plates. Drizzle with honey and serve warm with ice cream.

• Beat into the bananas with the gelatin water and lemon zest.
• Pour into serving bowl.
