Steps:

  • In 9x13" oblong pyrex baking dish mix rice and soups together.
  • (Do not add any water or milk.) When thoroughly mixed, even out in pan and place chicken on top.
  • Bake covered at 275 degrees F.
  • for 3 hours.
  • Remove the cover the last 1/2 hour for browning.

Steps:

  • place chicken in sprayed crock pot
  • sprinkle each breast with seasoning.
  • place a slice of cheese on each.
  • combine soup and sour cream in a saucepan and heat through enough to be well blended
  • spoon over chicken.
  • sprinkle stuffing mix on top
  • drizzle melted butter evenly over stuffing.
  • cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours (i found five hours to long in my crock pot so i would try four.).

Steps:

  • Arrange chicken on a cookie sheet. Combine ketchup, brown sugar, water and onion soup mix together and pour over chicken. Cover with foil and seal edges. Bake at 375° for 50 minutes.

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, blend the Worcestershire sauce, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, brown sugar, and ketchup. Place the chicken in the bowl, and coat thoroughly with the sauce mixture. Cover, and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
  • Heat an outdoor grill for medium heat, and lightly oil grate.
  • Discard the marinade, and grill chicken 6 to 8 minutes per side on the prepared grill, or until no longer pink and juices run clear.

  • In a large roasting pan, whisk together the vinegar, olive oil, water, garlic, salt, and pepper (you want a pan that’s big enough to hold all of the chicken pieces in a single layer; a disposable aluminum pan is good for this if your roasting pan isn’t large enough). Add the chicken pieces, sweet potatoes, and dates. Use your hands to mix everything together and get the marinade on all of chicken, sweet potatoes, and dates. Warning: the following is a bit messy, but bear with me. Move everything around so the sweet potatoes and dates are in a single layer on the bottom of the pan and the chicken pieces, skin-side up, are in a single, even layer on top.
  • Roast until the sweet potatoes are tender (test with a fork or a paring knife) and the chicken pieces are firm to the touch and their exposed skin is nicely browned, about 1 hour. Let the chicken rest at room temperature for at least 15 minutes before serving.
  • To serve, transfer the chicken, sweet potatoes, and dates to a large serving platter and pour all of the cooking juices over the top (or serve directly from the roasting pan, giving everything a little mix first). Sprinkle with the herbs and serve warm.
