Cheesy Texas Toast Recipes

Steps:

• Set oven control to broil. Spread butter on both sides of bread slices. Sprinkle both sides with seasoned salt. Sprinkle tops of bread with half of the cheese. Place on rack in broiler pan.
• Broil with tops 4 to 6 inches from heat 2 minutes. Turn bread; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
• Cut each slice diagonally in half. Serve warm or cool.

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
• Mix together butter, garlic powder, garlic salt and green onions. Spread it evenly among the 4 slices of bread and then place them on a foiled lined baking sheet.
• Place bread in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is beginning to brown/crisp up. Take out the bread and sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese. Return to oven for another 5 mins until cheese is melted. Enjoy!!

• In a medium bowl, combine the Cheddar, Monterey Jack, mayonnaise, Parmesan, butter, salt, pepper and seasoned salt.
• Cut the loaf in half lengthwise, then into thirds or fourths. Evenly spread the cheese mixture onto the bread pieces. Wrap each piece in a foil "purse," leaving a little room at the top between the cheese and the foil.
• The bread can either be frozen for later, or baked right away. If baking right away, place on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes. If cooking from frozen, bake on a baking sheet at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.

Steps:

• Preheat broiler setting on oven. Mix together butter and garlic powder in a small bowl. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
• Brush both sides of each slice of bread with butter mixture and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
• Broil bread for 1 minute on each side, or until light golden brown. Sprinkle one side of bread with cheese and Italian seasoning and broil until cheese is melted.
• Watch closely to avoid burning.
