CHEERY CHERRY COOKIES

Steps:
- In a large bowl, cream brown sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, milk and vanilla. In another bowl, mix the flour, salt and baking soda; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Stir in the cherries, coconut and pecans. , Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool.

Steps:
- In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition.
- Add milk and vanilla; mixing well.
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda; add to creamed mixture.
- Stir in the chopped pecans, dates and cherries.
- Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in the crushed corn flakes.
- Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets, pressing a cherry half in the center of each.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 14 - 15 minutes oe until golden brown.
- Remove to wired rack to cool.

CHERRY CRUNCH

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C.)
- In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle one half of crumb mixture in the bottom of a 9 inch square baking dish. Cover with cherry pie filling. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over pie filling.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until topping is golden brown. Serve warm.

This stuff disappears at my house in a single afternoon!! It is so simple, but so yummy!! I've never tried it with any other pie filling flavor, but it would probably be just as good with blueberry, etc.
