- Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Brown chops on both sides. Transfer to a 3-qt. slow cooker. Discard drippings, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings in skillet. Add onions; cook and stir until tender. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 minute. Stir in chili sauce, brown sugar and mustard. Pour over chops., Cook, covered, on low 4 hours or until meat is almost tender. Stir in beans. Cook, covered, 1 to 2 hours longer or until heated through.

- Mix together the ketchup, cola and brown sugar.
- Place pork chops into a baking pan and pour cola mixture over, coating well. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

This is a favorite at potlucks and barbeques! I've often wondered if I get invited for my company or my Cola Beans! I've tried several different brands of colas, but have found that Coke® works best. I like to pre-cook the bacon about half-way so it doesn't make the beans too greasy, but it's not necessary. This recipe can also be baked in a conventional oven at 350 degrees F for about 1 hour.

- Place the navy beans into a large container and cover with several inches of cool water; let stand 8 hours to overnight. Drain and transfer beans to a pot; add enough water to cover beans.
- Bring water to a boil, reduce heat, cover pot, and simmer until beans are slightly tender, about 1 hour.
- Mix 4 cups water, molasses, brown sugar, salt, mustard, and pepper together in a bowl until smooth.

- Spray inside crock or casserole dish with cooking spray. Drain beans if there's a lot of liquid in the cans. Stir together ketchup, molasses and onion. Pour half of ketchup mixture into beans and stir to combine. Place beans in bottom of crock or casserole dish. Place pork chops over beans. Spread remaining ketchup mixture over pork chops. - The night before, combine the Great Northern Beans and water in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, and cook for 1 1/2 hours. Pour beans and their liquid into a bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, drain off liquid, reserving 1 cup. Pour beans and the reserved liquid into the crock of a slow cooker. Stir in the salt pork, onion, molasses, brown sugar, mustard and pepper. Cover, and cook on Low for 12 to 14 hours. Stir before serving.
