CONWAY BARS
The first time I had these I thought "These should be called I've-Died-And-Gone-To-Heaven Bars!" The recipe is from long time family friend and neighbor Matel Viall... and one of my very favorites!

Yield 35 bar cookies
Number Of Ingredients 8
Steps:
- Melt butter or margarine in large saucepan.
- Stir in sugar; cool 10 minutes.
- Add eggs, one at a time, stirring well (do not use a mixer).
- Stir in flour.
- Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.
- Spread in a 15 x 10" pan.
- Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
- Cool and cut into squares.

- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13 pan with parchment paper and coat with nonstick spray. Set aside.
- In the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment mix the butter and the light and dark brown sugars together for 2 minutes on medium speed. Add in the eggs, vanilla, salt and baking powder and mix for an additional minute on medium, scraping the sides of the bowl as necessary.
