RANCH BURGERS FROM HIDDEN VALLEY®

Grilled burgers seasoned with Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix with minced onions are served up on toasted hamburger buns with lettuce and tomato.

Steps:

  • Preheat the grill or broiler.
  • In a large bowl, combine the beef, seasoning mix, onion, and pepper and mix well. If desired, add bread crumbs to meat mixture, too.
  • With wet hands shape the meat mixture into 6 patties, each about 1-inch thick. Grill the burgers for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees F is reached and juices run clear.
  • Serve the burgers topped with the lettuce and tomato.

Steps:

  • In a small skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add onion, mushrooms and garlic; cook 4 to 6 minutes, or until tender.
  • Let cool 10 minutes.
  • While cooling, make the ranch sauce by combining the mayonnaise, sour cream and dressing mix.
  • Cover and chill.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, onion mixture, blue cheese, salt and pepper until well blended.
  • Shape mixture into 4 (5-inch) patties.
  • Grill, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (350-400 degrees) for 5-6 minutes per side or until desired degree of doneness.
  • Serve on toasted buns with Zesty Ranch Sauce and desired toppings.

  • Mince the serrano pepper and 1/4 clove of garlic. Then, mix all of the ingredients together and then size as desired. I found it was easier and quicker when I put a lid above my pan as to prevent burning.
