CREAM CHEESE DRESSING/DIPPING SAUCE
From the Ready Steady Cook Show in Australia. Suggested you serve with a salad or veal or chicken. If using as a dipping sauce serve with fresh vegetable e.g. carrot or celery sticks. There seems to be a general consensus that as it is it is bland but can be the basis for many different varities using different herbs and spices, examples given have been chives, basil or oregano. Please feel free to experiment.

FRUIT SALAD WITH CREAM CHEESE POPPY SEED DRESSING
This is a low fat, easy and quick to prepare, nutritious fruit salad with a Poppyseed Cream Cheese Dressing. Its a very colorful, refreshing salad and is great for breakfast, snack or even as a dessert when trying to eat healthy. You can substitute 2 Cups of diced fresh pineapple for the canned in the recipe.

Steps:
- To make the dressing, place the cream cheese, honey and skim milk in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer till smooth.
- Stir in the poppy seeds.
- Set aside.
- Combine the fruits in a large bowl, and toss to mix well.
- To assemble the salads, place 3/4 Cup of fruit in a serving dish and top with 2 Tablespoons of the dressing.
- Serve immediately.

- Mix the syrup: Place the orange juice, vanilla extract, honey and cornstarch in a saucepan. Whisk well until smooth and there are no more dry lumps of cornstarch.
- Cook the syrup: Whisking constantly, bring to a boil and simmer for 1-2 minutes or until thickened to a medium syrup consistency.
- Cool the syrup: Take the syrup off the heat. For a shorter cooling time, pour it into a bowl. Cool to room temperature. Whisk from time to time to avoid a skin on top.
- Finish the dressing: Whisk the Greek yogurt into the cooled syrup. Chill in the fridge until ready to use.
