- 1. For Vinaigrette: In screw top jar, combine oil, sugar, vinegar, wine (if using), salt, pepper and mustard. Cover and shake well.
- 2. In large bowl, toss together cabbage, cranberries and onion. Pour vinaigrette over cabbage mixture; toss gently to coat.
- 3. Cover and chill for 2-24 hours. Makes 6 servings.

- Prep the slaw ingredients, starting with the onion. Place the thinly sliced red onion in a large bowl, squeezing the citrus juice over top. Season with 1 teaspoon kosher salt. Toss to combine & set aside to sit as you prepare the remaining ingredients – shred the cabbage, thinly slice the veggies, roughly chop the herbs, etc.
- Combine all listed ingredients in a small bowl or jar. Whisk or shake to combine. Set aside, or store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
