Steps:

Cut potatoes into chunks; transfer to a 1-qt. baking dish. Set aside. In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, butter, water and salt; bring to a boil. Pour over potatoes., Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until syrup thickens, basting occasionally. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Place sweet potatoes in crock pot, and put ham on top.
Combine brown sugar and mustard, and spread on ham.
Cover & cook on low setting 8-10 hours.

Slow-Cooker Ham and Sweet Potatoes image

Steps:

Spray 6-quart oval slow cooker with cooking spray.
Make cuts about 1 inch apart and 1/4 inch deep in diamond pattern in top of ham. Place ham cut side down in center of slow cooker. Arrange potatoes and onion evenly around ham. Pour broth on top of potatoes and onion.
In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Pour mixture on top of ham, potatoes and onion.
Cover; cook on Low heat setting 4 to 5 hours or until potatoes are tender and instant-read thermometer inserted in center of ham reads at least 145°F. Remove ham to cutting board; cover loosely with foil, and let stand 15 minutes.
To serve, cut ham into slices, and transfer to serving dish. With slotted spoon, transfer potatoes and onions to serving dish with ham. Spoon some of the cooking juices on top of ham, if desired.

Steps:

Place sliced potatoes in slow cooker. In a medium bowl, mix together shredded cheese, onion and ham. Mix with potatoes in slow cooker. Using the same bowl, mix together condensed soup and water. Season to taste with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Pour evenly over the potato mixture.

Steps:

Set oven at broil.
Diagonally slash outer edge of fat on ham slice at 1 inch intevals to prevetn curling.
Place ham slice on rack in broiler pan.
Broil ham slice with top 3 inches from heat until light brown about 5 minutes.
Turn ham; place potatoes and pineapple on rack.
Brush marmalade on potatoes and pineapple.
Broil until potatoes and pineapple are hot and ham is light brown, about 5 minutes.
(That leftover pineapple is good with cottage cheese).
