Dirt Trifle Recipes

Steps:

• 1. Cream together butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar. 2. In a separate bowl whisk pudding, milk, and Cool Whip. Add in cream cheese mixture. 3. Crush Oreos. 4. Layer cookie and pudding mixture and chill! ****Chill at least 2 hours before serving****

Steps:

• In a large bowl, beat 1 package cream cheese and 1 can condensed milk until blended. Beat in Kahlua, 1/2 cup milk and chocolate pudding mixes until thickened, about 2 minutes. Fold in 1 carton whipped topping, then chocolate graham crackers. Set aside., In another large bowl, beat remaining cream cheese and condensed milk until blended. Beat in the remaining 2 cups milk and the banana pudding mixes until thickened, about 2 minutes. Fold in 1 carton whipped topping, vanilla wafers and bananas., Spread chocolate pudding mixture in the bottom of a 6- or 7-qt. trifle bowl or glass bowl. Layer with 1-1/2 cups whipped topping and banana pudding mixture; top with remaining 1-1/2 cups whipped topping. Cover and refrigerate overnight., Garnish with additional wafers, crushed chocolate graham crackers and sliced bananas before serving.

• In a food processor or blender, process the cookies until finely crushed. Set aside 2 tablespoons of crumbs for topping., In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, butter and sugar. In a bowl, whisk the milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Add to cream cheese mixture; mix well. Fold in whipped topping., Place half of the cookie crumbs in 2-1/2-qt. container or bowl; top with half of the pudding mixture. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Refrigerate until serving.

Steps:

• In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter and confectioners' sugar until smooth. In a large bowl, whisk milk and pudding mixes for 2 minutes; let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Gradually stir into cream cheese mixture. Fold in whipped topping. , Spread 1-1/3 cups crushed cookies into an ungreased 13x9-in. dish. Layer with half the pudding mixture and half the remaining cookies. Repeat layers. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve with shaved white chocolate if desired.

Steps:

• Bake cake mix according to directions on box for 9x13 pan and cool.
• I use a huge bowl so I do 2 sets of layers.
• Layer 1 Once the cake is cooled cut into squares (makes it easier to crumble) and start to crumble it for you first layer. Note: Only for this first layer of cake, press into the bottom of the bowl.
• Layer 2 Mix chocolate pudding according to package directions (don't let it set because it can just be poured over the cake layer easier).
• Layer 3 Cool Whip (spread on with spatula to cover pudding).
• Repeat layer process one more time. Then top it with an extra layer of dirt( crumbled cake) for the gummy worms to sit on.
• Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
• Top with Gummy Worms just before serving.
• You can also make these in little individual cups for a kid party. Just do 1 layer of each and 1 extra layer of dirt (cake) Top with 1 or 2 gummy worms.
• Note: Prep and Cooking Time do not include cooling time for cake or setting time in the refrigerator.

Steps:

• 1. Prepare cake as directed on the box but bake in a grease 9 x 13 pan and completely cool in pan. When cooled, cut into bite sized pieces.
• 2. Make the pudding as directed on the box. Let stand 10 min to firm up a little.
• 3. After 10 minutes dump both containers of Cool Whip into the pudding and whisk in 'til no Cool Whip is showing through the pudding.
• 4. Crush the Oreo Cookies very fine in a food processer or in a zip top bag by hand using a rolling pin.
• 5. Now you're ready to put it all together: Put some of the cake bites in the bottom of the trifle dish. Next cover it with some of the pudding mixture. Then top it off with some the crushed Oreo Cookies. Repeat with cake, then pudding mixture, then the crushed Oreo Cookies. Repeat again and again 'til you end up the last layer of the pudding mixture and the top with the last layer of crushed Oreo Cookies. Serve it up now or refrigerate 'til ready to serve. Garnish with the gummy worms {optional} on top of the trifle.
